are extensions high maintenance?
It all begins with an idea.
the short answer is yes and no. lol
the yes part is exactly what you would expect. every 6-8 weeks you need to have them moved up. but you are likely getting your color done on that schedule already. the other hight maintenance fact is wash day. on wash days once or twice a week, you will have to spend more time styling your extensions.
but,
after you spend this time on styling your hair, you wont have to spend more than a couple of minutes a day for the next few days. so, low maintenance on those days, at least 5 days a week.
everything great takes time. styling your extensions is absolutely worth the extra effort to keep your hair great every day.

how many hair products do you use on wash day?
i use 6.
shampoo + conditioner + leave in conditioner + root spray + dry texture spray + oil/serum
on the other 6 days a week, i use dry shampoo, oil/serum, and dry texture spray.
most of what i have been using lately is MR.SMITH. of course im always trying new products, just incase.
before your next appointment, gather your hair products and snap a pic. we can see what you’re using to make sure they are exactly what you need and to fill in any gaps.

i have traveled from st. louis to southern california 7 times, houston, texas and columbus, ohio within my journey to become the best artist i can be providing NBR.
it is so important to go to an artist who has put the time and effort into their education when it comes to hair extensions.
we still practice on mannequin heads when we are working through issues. we still spend time coloring the wefts of hair to get the perfect color match. our passion to be great is what sets us above almost any other extension method.
the benefits of going to an artist who practices their craft every day is less damage to your hair, as well as your time spent in the salon will be shorter. we want you to stay all day but we know you want to go out and show off your new look.
